Smokey eye makeup technique that makes you look younger!
Correct eye makeup colours and correct application will enhance your eyes, making them appear larger and therefore more youthful.
As you age your eyelids drop, making your eyes appear smaller. Wide-open eyes are youthful hence the importance of applying eye makeup-up correctly to create the illusion of wide open eyes.
Opt for neutral colours such as brown, grey, moss and mauve in your eye shadow colours. Forget bright garish blues, purples and greens. Eye makeup is designed to enhance your eyes, not to be so bright that you don’t notice the eyes for the eye shadow.
Choose matte powders to disguise any lines around and on the eyelids. Creams and sparkly eye shadows only emphasize any lines you have on your eyelids.
I could explain to you, numerous ways of applying eye shadow. But of all the techniques this is the most age defying and flattering. As it is designed to open up your eyes and disguise any crepeyness on your lids creating a youthful, modern look.
Use eye shadow brushes rather then sponge tips. The sponge tips grab your colour making it difficult to blend. Brushes make it easier to apply eye shadow, creating soft lines with gripping your skin.
This technique requires 3 colours that complement each other… such as Arbonne’s Fog, Amber and Sienna or Opal, Pebble and Forest or Slate, Quartz and Aurora…
Using the eye shadow brushes, gently push the eye makeup into your skin rather than sweeping it across your lids. This will ensure your eye makeup stays put all day and night!
