I have always loved baked beans for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Nothing beats homemade baked beans, forget shop bought ones that are full of sugar and salt make your own that are healthy for your body and anti-ageing for your skin by delaying wrinkles, plus great for weight loss!!! What more could you ask for?

Cannelloni Beans amazing benefits includes enhancing cardiovascular health, a good source of protein, combating cancer cells, enhancing cognitive function, boosting and maintaining energy, helps blood related disease, helps treat anaemia, optimizing blood circulation, helps in detoxification, delays wrinkle appearance, manage cholesterol and blood sugar, and a good source of antioxidant.

The antioxidant properties of cannelloni beans fight free radicals in the body and delay the aging process, thereby delaying the formation of wrinkles on the skin.

White kidney beans are the second name for cannelloni beans. Cannelloni beans are native to Americas and South America. They are quite popular in absorbing the spice flavours and for their texture. The subtle taste that they offer always makes an excellent combination with other ingredients that you add with them. They are the most cherished cooked beans in the regions of Asia and South Asia and also in most other parts of the world. They taste amazing even when cooked in curry alone and are jam-packed with nutritional benefits.

Add cooked tomatoes to cannelloni beans and you have a powerhouse meal!

Tomatoes are a good source of lycopene, which is an antioxidant that might reduce your risk of heart disease, cancer and macular degeneration. Heat increases the bioavailability of lycopene, which means that your body can access and use it much more easily from cooked tomatoes than from raw ones.

Canned tomatoes (just like fresh, in season ones) are low in calories and packed with vitamin C and fibre. The canning process destroys some of the vitamin C and fibre, so be sure to read the labels to get the most from your canned tomatoes. Look for low sodium canned tomatoes or make your own cooked tomatoes.
