DAY 23 TO 30!!! FINISHED! Yay!! What did I gain or more importantly lose?

Updated: May 15, 2018

Sorry I have simply have been too busy to continue the daily blogs. So here I am all completed - this is day 31!

What was the first thing I did? Have a cup of coffee! I am sorry but herbal teas are not for me! I am back on my coffee daily!

How did I cope without having wine? I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I didn't miss my usual one glass of wine each night with dinner...this I will continue and only have a glass with family/friends once in a while.

Did I like the Meal Replacement Shakes? I loved them especially the Chocolate one I didn't mind the Vanilla but I won't get that one again. I am definitely continuing with the Chocolate Shake for breakfast and maybe lunch too! There are 230 calories in one shake - which is great!

Do I feel any better from doing this 30 day detox? Absolutely I feel healthier with more energy, it is exactly what I needed to detox my liver and kidneys from all that I have been through lately - multiple surgeries, anesthetic, stress, lack of exercise and strong medications.

Did I lose weight? Yes - absolutely - not as much as I would have liked but it has certainly kick started the weight loss which I have struggled with ever since having my thyroid completely removed a couple of years ago! Something I would not recommend unless you have to have it removed like I did! The repercussions to your body and health are horrible! My naturopath warned me against having it done, but the specialists said yes I had to!

What food did I like eating the best? As a vegan already, it was no different for me as it would be for others who are not. I enjoyed making and off course eating the Arbonne Chocolate Protein Balls which I will continue making as there is only 47 calories in each ball.

What will I continue not doing? As much as I love bread I have always tried to avoid it because it is so high in calories, but now I will be even more vigilant about not eating bread. I have always loved potatoes not matter which way they are cooked - but I will try and avoid them altogether now and stick to kumara (sweet potato) all the time instead!

Was it worth it!! Yes, yes yes!

Would I recommend it to others? Absolutely yes, if you want to lose weight slowly but surely and even if you can't exercise you will still lose weight. If you are feeling tired and run down, then yes do this, you will have so much more energy!! What is MOST IMPORTANT - there is nothing BAD in any of the products and only good vegan products!

We only have one body and face for our entire lifetime -

so you might as well look after it, so it continues serve you well into old age!
