DAY 8: YOU ASKED FOR IT, SO HERE IT IS!

I can't believe it, I have made it to Day 8 of my Detox 30 Day diet! YAY! My family love my vegan corn fritters, you would never know there are no eggs in them. I have made them like this for decades. Sometimes I make them the usual size for breakfast, lunch or dinner then other times petite bite sized fritters as nibbles...the leftover ones are also great in the fridge and then eaten cold as a snack maybe with tomato sauce!!!

They taste really nice with a tomato/curry chutney and avocado...YUM!!!

I will write the recipe out further down the blog...they are so easy anyone can make them! -:)

Early yesterday morning after my morning shake and normal medications...suddenly I felt so ill like I wanted to be sick...I think my blood pressure must have plummeted as it felt like all the blood had drained from my body and I felt like I was going to faint...so off to bed I went before I did faint! Feeling Horrible!!!

Eventually I was sick...which afterwards I felt a whole lot better...I have no idea what bought that on...lack of food...the horrible chlorine water we now have...who knows...but I almost succumbed to coffee instead of feeling sick again with herbal tea, but I didn't as my son James wouldn't let me -:)

The rest of the day went fine as I am busy putting my new mid-winter fashion collection together with some beautiful fabrics from Paris and my very, very popular stretch ripped jeans in black or white and new sexy black leggings just arrived...as I only do a limited numbers, normally one per size, be in quick... #denysesaunders #denysefashions #denysenewcolletcion #stretchrippedjeans #sexyblackleggins

Here is my delicious corn fritters recipe...

1. I buy a packet of frozen corn, then put it in a bowl to defrost all day or off course you can defrost it in the microwave

2. Chop up two white onions finely and add them to the corn

3. Add one heaped teaspoon of MASSEL VEGETABLE STOCK POWDER as this is natural, gluten free, no trans fat, cholesterol free, no added MSG and no animal content

4. Salt & Pepper if you wish (I don't)

5. Add a cup of self-raising flour (I have tried all the others and none of them give me a good result, sorry)

6. Slowly add some boiled water and mix with a wooden spoon to make a wet mixture

8. If too wet add some more flour, if too dry add some more water

9. Using a teaspoon (but if you want normal size fritters use a tablespoon full instead) full of the mixture, fry in shallow oil , turn over to cook both sides

10. Leave to drain on paper towel

Bon Appetit!

So what did I eat yesterday on my Detox Diet...

5am: Chocolate Meal Replacement, which I really do like, it is so delicious!!

10am: Cup of Herbal Tea

11am: FIZZ drink for extra energy

1pm: Vanilla Meal Replacement with a scoop of greens which gives me heaps of anti-oxidants that keeps me looking and feeling younger (I have written about this very thing in my Best-Selling Age Defying books)

4pm: Herbal Tea

6pm: Dinner; Broccoli and Cauliflower in an onion and tomato Bake, roast pumpkin with spices and peas. ...Yum! Yum! Yum!!!)

BE the BEST that YOU can BE!

BE Positively Fabulous!

Love & Light
